modelling – styling

photoshoot – raw femininity

A couple of weeks ago I did a photoshoot with photographer Amanda Den Buitelaar. We’ve been meaning to work together for a year or so, so I was very excited that it was finally going to happen :). I did the styling myself (which is a lot harder compared to doing styling for someone else!), we went for a raw-feminine jeans look. I’m so happy with the results, what do you think?

modeling again – eeek!

A couple of months ago,  I decided I could use a break from modeling. I was stuck in a rut, didn’t know what I really wanted, and I’m a true believer that distance can bring wisdom. And it did! As time went by, I realized how much I love modeling, and how much I missed it, so Idecided to pick it up again.
Luckily for me, my boyfriend is a photographer, so I asked him if he wanted to do a photoshoot with me. I had been “out of the running” for a while so I was actually really nervous, maybe even more nervous than for my first shoot! But he was patient and supportive, and I slowly felt my model-confidence return.
Here are the results. It was a short shoot, so not a whole lot of pictures to share… but who needs a bunch of pictures when there is this one shot that is so great that you feel happy just by looking at it? It made me realize that all the fears and insecurities I had before are totally unnecessary. They existed only in my head. And even though they were only tiny bumps in the road towards my goals, they had started to feel like mountains in my mind. I am very happy that I can now look forward again, with more peace of mind, drive, passion and inspiration than ever before.
You are confined only by the walls you build yourself.
