People often ask me how big my closet is, and to be honest it’s really not as big as you would think. And that’s partly because I don’t have a “summer wardrobe” and a “winter wardobe”, but because I wear the majority of my clothes all year round. Yes, even summer dresses!
Now I’m sure you would have thought of pairing it with tights and a sweater yourself, but here’s another neat little hack to try! Instead of thinking of layers on top of the dress, try working with layers underneath the dress. One of my favorite ways to do this, is by adding a blouse.
In this case I’m wearing a black wrapdress with ruffles from Belloya. It’s made of viscose, a very nice breathable fabric, which makes it perfect for warmer days. I’m combining it with a simply white blouse, et voila! Instant fall feeling. You can do this with all sorts of colours and prints. How about lace or sheer sleeves? Or a blouse in a contrasting colour? The combinatoin possibilities are endless, making this one of my favorite styling hacks for fall and winter.
This wrapdress fits like a dream and I’ve worn its orange-red sister a lot over the summer, so it’s definitely a great addition to my wardrobe. I also love the feminine touch of the ruffles, and the wonderfully long wrap so you can adjust it if you have a bigger belly too. I think every woman should own at least 1 wrapdress, and I can highly recommend this one.
