OOTD – Oh My Cape

For years now, I’ve been keeping a fashion wishlist. Items I absolutely need to have in my closet, that are surprisingly hard to find. A cape, for instance! I really wanted a black cape, that falls to the hips… And no, not a poncho, a cape! So when Yoek approached me to pick something from their fall/winter collection and I spotted this black cape I was like OHMYGAWDGIVEITTOMENOW.

So. Much. love. It’s just a perfect transitional piece, it makes a huge style statement with minimal effort and it gives you that tailored look (even though it’s just as comfi as pyamas). It’s made from a thick, stretchy material and it is hemmed with faux-leather strips (the only thing that could make this cape more perfect is leather strips, hah! Nailed it!). I honestly can’t wait to wear my cape to ALL holidayparty’s…for the rest of my life.

Because a girl can never have enough black in her closet, I finished it off with a gorgeous black turtleneck sweater and some black skinny jegging-like pants. A turtleneck is just one of those key items that a girl needs in her wardobe, no mater what your size is… You’ll definitely see this one again in future outfitposts. Oh, and about the pants: I usually have a problem with the waistline, because I need a bigger size to fit my upper legs and then it’s way too big on top. I didn’t have this problem with these pants! So ladies, if you have this problem too, Yoek is the way to go.

Psst, these were also some of my favorites… Still thinking about that leopard dress, isn’t it so cool? Have a look at their collection here.
