Let me start off by saying: yes, I know I have a bit of a belly outline. No, I don’t care. There was a time I would have banned this dress to the back of my closet because of this, but now I’d rather focus on how gorgeous the color is and how pretty I feel in it :). It would not have been that difficult to edit out my bellyshade and make my tummy appear flatter, but I prefer to show this to you guys the way it is. This is what I look like and there is nothing wrong with that. It’s about time we stop being afraid of our own bodies and not let insecurities hold us back don’t you think? Now that that’s out of the way, let’s move on!
I saw this dress during the Dorothy Perkins sale, in the tall section. I’ve been looking to add more bodycon stuff to my collection. I got the same one in black. And in silver leopardprint, hah! Regular dresses tend to Always be a bit on the short side on me (not that I mind, you know me, miniskirt-addict!) but for bodycon I prefer it if they are a bit longer. So yeey for tall colelctions! I’ve been slightly obsessed with these over the knee boots, you’ll be seeing them a lot… I love the look of boots going all the way up, it makes you wonder where they end doesn’t it? Now all this needs is a matching statement necklace, and I’m good to go!
