In my previous OOTD, I talked about having a fashion wishlist (and how I finally got to check “over the knee boots” off that list, whoop whoop!). Well, another thing that’s on there are turtleneck tops. I’m obsessed with them, and the perfect turtleneck is surprisingly hard to come by. I want the neck to be high and tight, and for whatever reason so many turtlenecks seem to be loose and low. No no. So when I spotted this beauty at Asos curve, it really was a no-brainer. If anyone knows where I could find more of this, preferable in a billion colors and with long sleeves; hit me up!
Tje skirt is also from Asos Curve: I had been in love with it ever since it popped up on the website a couple of months ago, but it was Always slightly out of my budget. Much to my surprise, it popped up on sale months later, and it was still available in my size. If that is not a sign from above, I don’t know what is ;).
I know it’s technically fall, but it’s still so lovely and warm here so I have absolutely zero regrets about showing bare legs and bare arms. Come on, it’s 20 degrees ouside, I’m just really not in the mood for warm wintery clothes. At all.
I remember for the longest time, turtlenecks were a no-no for plussize women. Contrary to V-necks, those high necks make your chest look wider and bigger… I’m enclined to agree with that observation (I was all of a sudden extremely aware of how wide my chest is haha) but I just really don’t care. This makes me feel amazing, so forget about the rules and just go for it! Hope you guys like this look :).
